LocalCowork is an open-source desktop AI agent from Liquid AI that runs entirely on-device with no cloud APIs and no data leaving your machine. Powered by LFM2-24B-A2B, it ships with 75 tools across 14 MCP servers covering filesystem operations, document processing, OCR, security scanning, email drafting, and task management. Built with a Rust backend (Tauri 2.0), React + TypeScript frontend, and 14 MCP servers (8 TypeScript + 6 Python). Achieves ~385ms average latency for tool-selection dispatch on Apple M4 Max.
